if you have ever seen the movie twister with Bill Paxton in it you will know why i say it. I dont know if the insurance company covers your furniture if the truck that was carrying it was flying before it collided with ground. I am referring to the catagory 4 cyclone heading for North Queensland. Fingers crossed it gets downgraded before it hits land.

I am sure if you were thinking of moving interstate to Queensland or Central NSW  you would have reconsidered given the events of the last week. I think the key now is to focus on selecting a house on higher ground…and away from creeks and river, or at least a house on stilts, strong stilts. To make a decision based on weather is a flawed way of thinking  because there is nothing stopping freak floods or 100 year floods happening anywhere in Australia. Its intelligent to select wisely but nobody can control the weather. The moral is don’t base your interstate moving decision on the weather and the recent floods.

It has been documented that the centre of Australia’s population which is currently in NSW and moving towards SEQ. It has been predicted by Bernard Salt that SEQ will one day become a super city linking Sunshine Coast to Gold Coast.
