Glenn, the longest serving interstate furniture removalist in our company has been enjoying his retirement from working in the trucks lugging furniture all day. He was given a cushy desk job in sales earlier this year and has enjoyed the rest after the best part of 30 years of lifting in cities like Sydney and Newcastle . This week, Glenn decided to come out of retirement and trade his texta for a trolley for a valued client.

One of our customers asked Glenn to move her himself, as he had done many times in the past, she simply could not accept that he was retired from lugging furniture these days. After some consideration Glenn decided he would give into the clients request. Thinking he would get away with a small cushy 3 hour job on the Saturday, he thought it would be no big deal, little did he realise that our other salesperson Alex had booked 2 more local furniture removals after his job, turning Saturday into a thumping 10 hour day for him.
