Hello readers….yesterday we touched on how important real time training is to become a professional interstate removalist. As you may have realised, knowledge and experience on how load furniture into a container or truck properly is of utmost importance. Another aspect of the job that is almost as important is customer relationships. The onsite partnership our interstate removalists build with YOU…the customer is crucial, I call it a partnership because we share a common goal….to get your furniture to your destination in a manner that is not only acceptable to you, but favourable to you. No 2 moves are the same and you may have different requirements and expectations from someone else that is moving. It’s the relationship with your removalists that will make sure you can confidently communicate with them and ensure everything you need gets provided.
When we hire our removalists we not only factor in their skills but their personality, we know if they can’t talk and present themselves in an interview as enthusiastic, friendly and honest guys they will find it tough to deal with you and your needs on the day of the move when it counts. We have learned that it is important to avoid hiring staff that have good skills but very bad PR skills…..this is common in furniture removals industry, especially interstate removals…….but not with iMovers.
Tomorrows blog will be part three of the series in what it takes to be true professional interstate removalists
