Moving to Ballarat, Melbourne Victoria

Ballarat is an old city, it was founded in 1838 and has a current population of 94000 Victorians otherwise known as Ballaratians. It is surrounded by towns the likes Ararat, Beaufort, Dayleford, Stawell, Maryborough, Castlemaine, Creswick and lexton.  It is 105 kms north west of Melbourne. It has fantasic heritage which is very obvious if you drive down the main street. The western freeway connects Ballarat to Melbourne and this drive only takes 90 minutes these days. Moving to Ballarat from Adelaide or Melbourne is particularly affordable because of the interstate removalists trucks we run between Adelaide and Melbourne. The average cost of a lightly furnished 3 bedroom house moving from Adelaide to Melbourne is approximately  $2000 and from Melbourne to Adelaide is about the same, maybe a little bit more from Melbourne. To move from somewhere like Sydney or Brisbane / Gold coast you will pay somewhere between $3000 to $5000. Its more expensive from the other states because there is a deviation out of Melbourne to get to Ballarat. For more information give us a call. Tomorrow we will look at Geelong
